Best Laid Plans...

The camera’s cables vanished. The camera spontaneously discharged. The supermarket was out of ice. And my computer got its first virus in years, which took most of a day to kill. Gah.

So, expect a KKC shortie update first thing on Monday! In it, I’ll be demonstrating a Neat Trick mixing liquid chocolate with orange juice to create a whipped cream of chocolate (you may know it already as a varient on Herve This’ Chantilly Chocolate), and talking about the future of KKC, and why you haven’t seen a new series yet.

UPDATE – On the upside, in the last hour I’ve come up with 4 ideas for new episodes/live shows. So you’ll probably be seeing more soon.

Then I went to Chinatown with my 6 year old daughter for some random fatty meat from the window with rice. Then to a chinese bakery for some moon cakes. So my rambling and not yet incoherent from the gin point is; What the hell are you playing at? Get the damn thing done. I have read the internet, the whole of it. Other than wait for “Internet 2:The Quickening” I have nothing left. My life is sad enough to wait for nerds to post vaguely amusing videos about food.

Every time I say I’m going to go back to finishing the film project I’ve been working on for five years now, something utterly catastrophic happens. It’s turned into something of a running joke with us. “Oh, you want to work on the film again? We better get extra insurance right away.” And so on…
