Actually, according to Alton Brown, you can use ordinary paving stones in place of pizza stones.

Never tried it though.

Chris – Interesting, I’ve heard that too. A future KKC test, I think…

(Actually, there are lots of things we could test on the pizza front. Good idea…)

Brilliant show!

Sadly I missed most of the feed owing to the needs of work, sleep, and bits of my house that desperately need painting before it rains or next door’s small child starts sleeping.

And I do wish I’d discovered the chat room earlier; it was sometimes a bit boring watching people go off screen to do things or just stand there mixing.

Which was all more than made up for by power whisks and food processors of progressive definitions and people who aren’t the Stig. Here’s looking forward to more improvisation in series 1 :)

Robert – thanks! Yeah, we’re looking into alternate solutions and more obviousness for the chat window next time – hopefully we’ll have a custom Live page on KKC with twitters, pics, chat, video, the lot.
